This is one of my series of paintings inspired by simple things found in my kitchen. The star is that shiny metal bowl. I love the way it reflected a miniature version of everything in sight. It shares the spotlight with some lovely green pears. Lavender, blue, and green with an under painting of red help to unify the work.
The original oil painting was created with professional grade oil paint on an 8x10 inch stretched canvas. It makes its home with a buyer from North Carolina.
