This painting was inspired by a lifeguard station on the beach in California. The original painting was created in oil paints on gallery canvas. It is part of the iconic beach scene that so many visitors love to see. I would recommend renting a beach cruiser bicycle and coasting along the boardwalk. It runs for miles and leads travelers from Santa Monica and Malibu through Venice beach to so many other lovely southern beach communities. Take your camera or a paintbox and enjoy your visit.
