Description

This painting was created with acrylic paints on an 11x14 inch gallery canvas. I was inspired by the alpine hills of the Cascade Range that runs from British Columbia in the North to California. In the summertime, the hills are full of wildflowers. The tall scrappy trees that huddle through the winter show their tall, weathered selves and remind me about how cold it gets in the winter months.
