Artist's Description
Punch Bowl Falls is in the Columbia Gorge that divides the states of Washington and Oregon. To find it, begin with a luscious hike that culminates in a gorgeous waterfall and serenity. The trail leads through rich evergreen forests and natural foliage. Visit in the summer when the sunlight steams through the evergreen forest and the woodland scene is calm. The waterfall is the source of inspiration for this square format landscape oil painting completed with loose brush strokes and an impressionistic style.
