It is a joy to hike along the bank of a river. The sound of the water and the wildlife are always a pleasant surprise. This painting of a river bank in the Pacific Northwest was created with that experience in mind. The original oil painting was created on a 16x20 inch gallery canvas and is a soothing memory of the many hikes I've taken in Washington State and Oregon.
