This abstract painting was created on a bright summer morning. The sun was strong, but the dew was still on the foliage. The garden was full of color, but the dampness of morning kept the atmosphere cool and comfortable. The shapes are organic and non-representational, except perhaps that warm sunny glow that resembles the sun. Impressionistic dabs of red, pink, and green contrast with the cool purples.
