The western bank of the Deschutes River looking South is the vantage point from which this Central Oregon oil painting was created. The river flows serenely past the resort town of Sunriver toward the town of Bend, Oregon. In the summertime canoes drift along passing meadows, pine trees, and views of the Cascade Mountains.
