Description

This abstract floral painting was created on an 16x20 inch stretched canvas and was inspired by the wonderful roses that bloom each summer in my backyard. It is a delight to clip a giant bouquet. The scent fills the room and charms everyone who enters. It is such a wonderful feeling to sit in a cool studio on a hot day, smell the scent of roses and paint them on a fresh canvas. White roses on against a cool lavender background are balanced by the warmth of the green foreground and the foliage of the leaves.
