Layers of texture and color work together to develop this wintery mixed media painting. When snow and ice arrive, the warm subjects of my summer painting often slide into the cold, dark shapes of a very different season. I imagine moose and bison traversing the fields beyond where most vehicles venture. It is only in my imagination that I travel into this snowy place.
