This painting was originally created with oil paint on a hardboard panel. It was inspired by the beauty of a Cascade mountain scene. The Cascade Range runs along the West Coast from Canada to Northern California. I am blessed to live in the Northwest where mountains are visible almost everywhere one looks. Some of the most famous of the mountains are Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, and Mt. Shasta among many others. Traveling on I-5, the mountains show their faces frequently.
