Artist's Description
This is a scene I snapped with my camera after we crossed the Columbia River from Washington State into Oregon. We were traveling south toward Central Oregon. The sun was just going down and the base of Mount Hood was shrouded in clouds as we headed toward it.
If you visit the Pacific Northwest coast of the United States, you most likely get a glimpse of Mount Hood or one of its other volcanic sisters. They make quite an impression.
