Fresh peaches right off the tree are so sweet and tasty that they inspired a series of minimalist still life paintings. The colorful fruit posed nicely for this oil painting which was created on canvas. The traditional lighting effects of chiaroscuro make it stand out in against the dark background. The original painting was created on a 6x6 stretched canvas with professional grade oil paints.
